New York Film Academy - School of Film and Acting is a revenue driven film school and acting school situated in New York City. The NY Film Academy was established in 1992 by Jerry Sherlock, a previous film, TV and theater producer. It was initially situated at the Tribeca Film Center. In 1994, NYFA moved to the previous Tammany Hall constructing in Union Square.
Starting 2012, the school has 400+ representatives and more than 7,000 understudies every year. NYFA offers ace, lone wolf, and partner degrees, and also 1 and 2-year center projects and transient workshops in filmmaking, representing film, photography, 3D liveliness, amusement configuration, creating, screenwriting, advanced filmmaking, cinematography, narrative, show reporting, musical theater, music feature, computerized altering, visual depiction, and representation programs at different areas all through the world.
